Reauthorization of the Diesel Emission Reduction Act

Status:

Efforts are currently underway to reauthorize the Diesel Emission Reduction Act, which is set to expire in FY 11.  

Senate:

  • Senators Voinovich and Carper introduced S. 3973, Diesel Emission Reduction Act of 2010, on November 18, 2010 with 28 additional cosponsors. (Press Release)
  • The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works passed S. 3973 on November 30, 2010. (Press Release)

House:

  • Congresswomen Richardson and Matsui introduced H.R. 6482, Diesel Emission Reduction Act of 2010 on December 2, 2010.
